Returns Information

We want you to be happy with your purchase. If you're not completely satisfied, you can return your order within 30 days and get a full refund using the same payment method you used for your original purchase.

We work hard to ensure that your order arrives in perfect condition. If you find any damaged items, please get in touch with us immediately.

Return Steps

To return an item to smartessentia.co.uk, please follow these steps:

  1. Authorise your return on the website through the Contact Us form.
  2. Pack the item in its original packaging and write your return number on a separate sheet of paper. Do not write on the original packaging.
  3. You can download a return note as part of the returns process.
  4. Send the item back to our depot.
  5. Once we receive your return, we will start processing it.
  6. Your refund may take up to 14 working days from the date we receive your order.

Returning An Unwanted Item

  • Unwanted items cannot be returned after 30 days and must be unused, undamaged and unmarked.
  • You'll need to arrange a courier to send the parcel back at your own expense, and it's recommended that you use a recorded mail service.  
  • Unwanted items returned are at your own expense.
  • Returns will not be accepted for items that were purchased on sale/discounted. 

Returning Faulty Or Damaged Item

  • Damaged items cannot be returned after 30 days of receiving the goods.
  • Notify us about any damaged items within 48 hours of receiving the goods. You can do this by contacting us through our Contact Us page.
  • As part of the returns process, you will need to provide photographs of the damaged items.
  • Please notify us of any damaged items before starting the returns process.

A Few Things to Note

All refunds for items are made using the original payment method. Please confirm your return by ensuring the following:

  • Please return the items in their original condition, including all packaging, and handle them with care while they're in your possession.
  • If the items are in sealed packaging, please ensure they're visible without opening the packaging.
  • When returning your item, include your order number and let us know the reason for your return.

Order Delivery:

  • Most items are delivered in approximately between 5 and 14 working days. 
  • Items such as furniture require 30 to 90 days to produce and deliver.
